I need some help about these Kaiserliche Marine Tellermütze:
Is these cap used by combat units or some kind of merchant units?
Cap is original? Any traces of repairs or restoration?

Bekleidungs-Amt Wilhelmshaven

stored in 8.10.1916 or 1918 ?
Head-wide 56cm.
Interior looks like a late war cap, so i guess the year is 1918.

Very nice, original official purchased cap. Tally is not fixed in the correct way, but that was not uncommon.
Sewn on original cockade, also original sewn in stiffener inside in the front behind the cockade.
Some small bites by moth.
