Very nice, well done Charles. Is the PKO2X Pohlmann's or a different one?
        Regards,

Hello Sandro, i wasn't unable to acquired his PKO2X as it had sold before I could get it.
I've often wondered who has it and what other Pohlmann items were sold.
          Charles

            Hello,

besides this fine uniform, I see a further one at left, wearing the Austrian Militärverdienstkreuz I Klasse mit der Kriegsdekoration und Schwerter: who was the general?

I'm very curious on any high ranking officer wearing Imperial Austrian orders and decorations.

            Berst wishes,

            Enzo (E.L.)

Hello, the Militärverdienstkreuz I Klasse mit der Kriegsdekoration und Schwerter doesn't belong to the Bavarian General. It came from a collector who once owned A-H generals items and whatnot.

I'll post the Bavarian General later on.

                Thank you for the reply.

I'm always highly attracted by any important Austro-Hungarian order so i didn't miss that detail in the above picture.

The MVK I Kl/KD-Schw. is a very high decoration indeed.

                All the best,

                Enzo

                  CCJ,

I have seen some nice pieces over the years on the WAF but this is extraordinary a truly impressive ensemble! Well done.

Are the awards, ribbon bars, pipe, visor his?

The awards are not his but he was awarded the PlM and the PKO2.

The awards are real, the PlM is a post war single sided example, unmarked. Godet type, Meybauer, IMO

I haven't been able to locate a ribbon bar that closely matched his awards.

Thanks for the response. I love those one sided PLMs!

Again a great piece and presented wonderfully!

I'm a poor photographer and only have my iPhone these days. My scanner broke and I haven't taken the time to buy another
