    M 17 Helmet in camo

    Hello,
    can i get opinions about this M 17/M18 Helmet.I think the helmet is a good one,but is the colour original too ?

              I don't see any problems with this helmet. It's an original M16 shell, with original M17 liner system. The shell retains a good amount of original feldgrau paint inside and out. The liner pins appear to be original to this shell, and tight. The leather liner pads show wear and a little damage, otherwise; it's ok. The drawstring is not original issue, and has been added to the liner. The chinstrap is missing. As far as the green splotches go, I would say original. I have seen this helmet, or one very similar to it and don't have a problem with it. However; I would not consider this a camouflage helmet that one would expect to pay big bucks for, such as a non regulation, splotch pattern, or regulation painted WWI German camo steel helmet. If I had to place a value on it - $350.00-$450.00.
