      This piece comes from a german offizierscasino ......

      but i think with 1 reply ..there is no need to post a piece like this here again...

        You seem a bit sensitive. Maybe people haven't seen it, yet. Or, perhaps it's a bit of an anomaly about which many collectors simply wouldn't have anything to say other than to admire it.

        It's quite a fine officer's trophy; at the very high-end of trench art. Since the damage appears to have happened after the engraving, it may have been hung on a wall and simply fallen off onto a concrete floor or other hard surface.

        Anyway, thanks for showing it.

          Nice looking French Kuirass, that my best guess was captured and had the engraving done later. Interesting piece that would look great hanging in any collection.

          To bad about the damage, but still cool
