This is Kaiserabzeichen ( 1895 - 1913 ) which was established on 27 January 1895 by Kaiser Wilhelm II . In Bavaria , Saxony and Wuerttemberg was called Koenigabzeichen and instead of Kaiser crown badge had king's crown .... so this particular one must be earned by a soldier from one of above mentioned kingdoms . BTW having additional clasp for another year makes it very interesting and much less common ... I personally never saw another one with such addition ( or maybe I just didn't see too much ) . My congratulations
      with regards

          Hello,

If these two items are related, then the shooting badge can only be from a Saxon or Württemberg unit, as the Bavarians had a different colored lanyard cord (blue/white, silver/white). The only unit from these states that I can find that won back to back Kaiserpreis in 1896 and 1897 was the 1st company of Infanterie Regiment Kaiser Friedrich, König von Preußen (7.Württembergisches) Nr.125.

            Hello Chip,

thank you! you are absolutely right!

With this shooting badge and the cord comes two regiment needles for members showing the symbol of the "7.Württembergisches Nr.125"

            Best regards
            Jo
