I have had these for a long time. Any ideas as to country, wether military, or other use?

I want to sell them but would like to know what they are for sure so they can be properly described.

They look like the so-called "Stulpstiefel" to me. They were worn by certain German cavalry types....Kürassier, Jäger zu Pferde and possibly others.

IMO they may or may not be military and may or may not be German. I can see points that to me speak against both conclusions that these are German military.
Whatever they are they are private purchase and not issue trooper boots. Nothing wrong with that, but it makes it more difficult to pin them down by country and timeframe or intended market.
