Are you referring to the inner replaceable lenses on the leather mask?

Sorry no, for the gummimaske 1916. Can you unscrew the inner piece?

No. There are no replaceable inner eyepieces on Gummimasken and their lenses were not designed to be replaced in the field. Original lenses for the Gummimaske would be very hard to locate and tricky to replace. The commonly found spare lenses stored inside the lids on GM17 canisters are meant only as replacements for the leather mask's interior eyepieces and are made of a much softer, moisture absorbing cellulose -much different than the exterior lenses of either mask. They are not interchangeable with Gummimaske lenses.

Thanks Hans, it must be difficult to find a nice one with the lenses intact. Were they glass or a form of plastic?
          Regards.

From what I've read they were made of celluloid acetate.
