The second one is a little unusual. Is it maker marked? The ones like this that I have seen were made by Eickhorn as export sabers, and were possibly bought by Romania and perhaps other countries.

The mark that you show on the spine is hard for me to see, but I have seen a very few of these that bore a German Imperial acceptance stamp in that location and were pressed into German service at the beginning or early stages of WWI by the German Army. I have also seen a couple that bore German unit markings in addition to the Acceptance stamp.

These swords were a sort of hybrid between a cavalry sword and an artillery saber, meaning that they would be pretty effective for either service.

The example that you show appears to be nickel or chrome plated, but again it is hard for me to say from the photos. I would consider that a post service embellishment. Originally the hilt pieces and blade were in the white and the scabbard was blued.

I consider examples of these with the imperial acceptance stamp as very interesting and pretty scarce.

i am not really fit with sabers, but the first should be an austrian m1861 model. the tassel is not austro-hungarian, but an officers (any branches, except cavalary and tanks) tassel worn between 1926-1945 which is not correct fixed to the sword. nice one!

the tassel has been used with the saber, but its not fixed as it should be.
here you can see how it would be correct:
