        Hello Giorgio,

        The officer's boards have no artillery insignia on them. Even the guard artillery units had devices. Without any unit numbers, it is nearly impossible to say who would have worn them. There were units and officer's that would not have had numbers, but those would be staff personnel (with a different piping), Bavarian cavalry (but these are Prussian) or unassigned officers.

        The rest of the shoulder straps are private purchase pieces at best. Some do not even look to be German military examples. For instance, I have never seen WWI German field gray shoulder straps with a red backing material. Perhaps they are from some other country which used a similar gray wool (Switzerland, Holland, etc).
