What do you thing about these trousers 1907

Bonjour,

A friend of mine who is not on forums bought these trousers 1907. According to an other friend, many well made fakes appeared on the market these last years.

What do you think about it?

To me it looks like a very nice repro i have seen this trouser for sale first by Regimentals(i have held it in my hands in Kassel) for a very long time then it was for sale by Weitze then it was gone and it was for sale again by Weitze a few weeks ago.

How do we know it is a repro? The condition?

I have always avoided trousers, but this looks really well made.

I see no obvious indication that these are reproductions. The materials and construction look like original examples. The markings aren't overtly fake. I too have heard of quality fakes, but no one has shown any proof. What am I missing? I am open to be convinced that the fakers have gotten this good. If they have, no one will trust a nice pair of FG trousers. And thus the value of real pairs goes down.
