    WW1 Canteen?

    Got this at auction years back but know nothing about it. I believe it is a M1915 Medics canteen but do not know for sure. What do i actually have here and what can I value it at?

    Hello,

    Yes, this is a wartime medic's canteen, known in German as a "Labeflasche". It appears to be missing the over-the-shoulder strap and the belt hook is torn from the back of the harness.. These things lessen it's value. The condition is just fair. These are not scarce by any means. Given the problems, I would guess this canteen is worth less than $100.
