    A great looking helmet, congratulations!

    As James mentioned, I'd like to get to the Cassel show some day as well.

    What does all this mean about the spike rings around the base please?
    There are two parallel lines (a set of two line rings) located above the flared out portion of the spike (not the base) that are one of the indicators of officer rank status on the parts used on this officer helmet.
