Looking for some help with this portrait.
Can someone please let me know what type of unit the soldier in the leather jacket is in?
I assume he is a driver of sorts but would like to know the unit involved if possible.

The leather coat wearer is a member of the Kraftfahetruppen as you thought. The shoulder straps have a "K" on them but no indication of which exact unit he was with. They also had a leather peaked cap but this individual is wearing a standard cloth cap.
