Back in the day, collectors defaced costume shop markings, thinking that the marks devalued the item. Today, we are bit more enlightened and accept that if it were not for these shops, theaters and movie prop departments much fewer period items would have been saved for us to enjoy today.

Really nice caps and I can't decide which I like better. I have insignia from the uniforms of all of them.
