    Pickelhaube original ?

    I just purchased this Pickelhaube helmet. I do not have much knowledge as to WW1 effects.

    Can someone please tell me if it` authentic ?

            Hi Kevin,

            that is a rare plate and much reproduced. Did you check for double holes, e.g. on the inside are there unused holes near the one holding the eagle?

              additionally I see that the stamping around the beak of the eagle is not very neat.
              However let's wait what the pickelhaube collectors have to say.
