I doubt the Prussian story. On the otherside of the ticket it had Imperial crossed out It did have an old label inside which appeared german... but the picture is somewhat blurry.

    Cheers.

It's a Swiss Army shako, not Prussian, of course.

Luckily no deal was made. I appreciate your time. Maybe I'll have better luck next time.

There might be a forum member who might be interested in this tshako so maybe if they contact you, you could put them in contact with the seller

When you consider how small is Switzerland you can estimate how many swiss Tschakos are out there.
For sure much rarer then a prussian.

If i'd be you i would buy it and sell it further with profit !

                Greetings from a Swiss
                Robert

Really, I never considered selling for profit, I buy to keep & selling can be a messy business--- how much is it worth??? I only ask because I have no idea.

                  Cheers,

                  Jamie

I don't meant to make a fortune with it, but cause Australia is far away i think is nothing else then fair when you also would earn a bit something for your efforts.

As i don't collect swiss items i seriously have no idea about the value.

But as sayd, for sure there are much more Prussian Tschakos out there.

I looked it up a bit and converted in Australian dollars.
The prices range from 170 till 398 australian dollars.

Swiss stuff is worth very little as they were not involved in any wars .
A load of these have appeared on ebay recently and while they look good they are not very exciting .Rob

I think I'll leave it for someone else. I don't buy and sell, and I dislike putting a price on things --- no wonder I'm not employed in the private sector, lol.

                        Cheers,
