      More pictures would aid in the identity of the haube. The picture of the interior is too small. Nice large clear pic of the eagle plate would also help. Cockades need to be swapped to the correct rides

                The clincher for me was the leather cord used to size the liner fingers, Also the side view of the eagle plate on the front of the haube is way too thin looking. Can you return it for a refund?

                    I have 2 Indian repro haulbes and yes they did smell bad when they first arrived, but not as bad as the repro Roman Centurian helmet. Had to wash with dish soap and scrub the fowl oil coating off it had on it. I guess it was there to prevent rusting
