I suspect Chip is correct, in that this is a private purchase jacket. Whilst it follows the pattern to some degree, there are differences that make this one a little different, namely the addition of a stand and fall collar instead of the usual fall collar, the simplified cuffs and lack of and belt supports, as well of being made of a superior material.

Here are some pictures of the various patterns of Litewka. Yours appears to be the 1903 pattern. These were worn by all infantry troops, not just Landwehr. These were pretty much outmoded by the time the war began and were relegated to the lower echelon troops. In wartime photos you even see the old patterns being worn. Red was the most common color of the Kragenpatten. Jägers worn green ones and the Garde various colors.
The artwork is from Paul Pietsch's work on the Prussian army 1808-1914 and Das Deutsche Heer appearing in the 1930s and contributed to by Pietsch, Herbert Knötel d.J. and Major a.D. Baron Collas.
