    Hello Guys,
    Never owned a pickelhaube,but saw one in a local auction,I know it's a crappy pic,but can someone identify this one,any signs of faking to look out for.

              Have to agree, not good. Liner is weird, spike has a weird shape etc.

              Just my opinion

                Hello.

                The spike is too straight, it must be slightly curved. The liner should be in black leather, the teeth have a weird shape. The plate should be bronze with silvered metal center (germansilver). Chinstrap fasteners are not from the good model and the cockades should have a smooth edge.
