PRUSSIAN OFFICER'S BROCADE BELT & BELT BUCKLE / Opinions please

    Hello,

I would like your opinions on this Prussian officer's brocade belt with belt buckle.

    Regards
    Bart

The end with the prongs needs to be turned over so the prongs face toward the buckle. The way it is now the end would just slide off the belt

There should be a backing material (usually wool) on the inside of the belt and there should also be a leather strip with staggered holes to slip the prongs through. If these aren't present, it's possible that this is not a belt, but was formed from a adjutant's sash.
