Bavarian Schirmmütze

Hi there,
this week i catched this Schirmmütze. Its made from a Gebardine-like fabric in a nice gray tone with a dark green (how do you say Besatzstreifen?) and has White piping around. The lacquered leather Visor has no Mayor damage and is quite OK.

I have a doubt if its from WW1 or more like the Reichswehr era hats. Anyone a clue?

I have seen it in the auction offered as a ww1 cap. In my opinion it is cap from the Weimar period.

Well, i have to pick it up this Weekend.

Hello.

There are no WW1 caps using those combination of colours from band and piping. So it's most than probably a post WW1 cap.

Postwar in my opinion too, perhaps a Stahlhelm organization type.
