Woah man, damn that is salty I'm surprised it still can be presentable. was it stored in the basement for 90 years or more?
For some reason it looks like a coat not a tunic due to the collar and the back for some reason

I see no connection with this coat and a German military (or any other country) uniform, re-worked or anything else.

Take a careful look at the weave of the fabric for one. I do agree that it is pretty old and it is in vary bad condition. I would be very careful having this in my house unless well disinfected.

I also note that it had external pockets. I am unaware of any variant WW1 German tunic in which such patch pockets existed. Certainly there were no external patch pockets on an M15 tunic.
