It's a slow day on the forums today so I thought I might post
this old bayonet. It has most definitely seen better days
but it still makes for a nice set.

1915 dated 98/05 bayo, sheath and frog.

The bayo is made by Mauser and is dated 1915 on the spine.

The sheath is simply marked with the imperial crown acceptance
mark on the throat.

The frog is marked Homann & Sohn, Kaiserlautern 1915

Looks like you have a Yugo M48 frog on your bayonet, not really correct for an Imperial 98/05.


Oops, just noticed Alfred mentioned that already.
