    Hi guys

    I wanted to see pics of your rarest ww1 feldmutze (peaked or non I don't mind)
    I'm just curious that's all
    I hope we see some amazing feldmutzes

    Here is my favorite and possibly the rarest cap in my collection. A M15 Garde Schutzen that shows field wear. It is well worn.

      Not really rare, and actually my only feldgrau cap, either pre-war or wartime.
      A Prussian infantry officer's service cap. made by a well known Berlin tailor.

            Here you go. Maker was Borchert of Berlin, and the cap looks like it was the property of a theater for a time postwar.

                  Hello.

                  Because it carries a Hessian cockadel and not wearing the badge of Catholic and Protestant priests (silver cross) between the cockades.

                  No maker's mark.

                  The cap has been authenticated by J. L. Larcade.
