Looks like an original WWI Austrian shell reissued for service in WWII.

And what about the color ?? Seems strange to me

If in original WWI configuration the original color of the paint would be brown. As I mentioned above, yours appears to be a WWII reissue. The helmet was repainted green (feldgrau), and a WWII liner system was installed. Below are a few pictures of original WWI Austrian helmets with original brown paint.
