Markings in a WWI Naval tunic

Yesterday a WWI Naval jacket came in from a local collector.
I was told that the below embroidered details could possibly id the sailor and ship. Is that true?
Would love to know what it says.
Thanks in advance for any info,
    Bob

B.A.W. (Bekleidungsamt Wilhelmshaven) issue date looks like 21.6.1911? '3m' size.
Followed by 2nd Matrosendivision 4th Kompany 511 is the soldiers ID number below again is the date 1911.
Pretty sure......., ChipM is the master, marine stamps are cool more interesting than Army they give the service mans id information and better stamped.

Nice can you show the jacket?

      Thanks.

When I get back to my office, I will shoot a better photo of the tunic.

Had to use my cell phone camera and the flash washed out the color. The color is much darker then it shows in the photo.

Nice pre WW1 "Affe" jacket (nicknamed in German for Monkey..as sleeves "arms" are longer than the waist bottom).
Exact same style was worn uptil the outbreak of WW2 as a Navy Parade/dress jacket

              Bob,

You can't get information about the sailors service whereabouts from the jacket. That information is normally on the cap tallly or in his Militärpaß. In this case, the white metal buttons and lace indicate that he was shore based (W. = Werftdivision) as opposed to sea based. His rank was Vizefeldwebel (Unteroffizier mit Portepee), as indicated by the single band of sleeve braid. The sleeve patch tells his service branch status, which could have been either Oberschreiber, Obermeistersmaat or Obersanitätsmaat.

You can see where there once was sewn an "Etikett" or owner's name tag.
