Hello folks. Per request of a fellow member, here are a few quick shots of the gravediggers (or hate), belt I got earlier this week along w/ a nice Prussian EM pickelhaube, US 5th division helmet, and a few other odds and ends. What I find most unique about it, is the buckle. The roundel appears larger than the norm, also, the catch and prongs are more "C" shaped in appearance. Also, the steel "pin" on which the prongs ride, has flanged ends which almost have the appearance of tapered screw (or nail) heads, but appear totally original...(as in, seems like they've been there forever). The belt itself does have some numbers, etc, stamped into it, however they're hard to make out. The buttons themselves are rather mundane, mostly Prussian "crown" types, w/ possibly a few French or Belgian, and a US example or two. A few went missing over the years, however what's left still makes for a nice display piece. A few pix below...
