Picklehaube liner?

I know the pictures are bad and apologize but these are all I have for now. Does this liner stand a chance of being original? Or is it a replacement or an out and out fake?

I see nothing wrong, but you certainly want more and better pictures before purchasing that helmet...

Leather sweatband looks OK. Liners differ from example to example. Lo res photos not helpful.

Picklehaube views

Hi All
I just got back from viewing the Picklehaube and am impressed with it. It comes right from the British Family whose member acquired it from a WW1 German Chaplain I was told. The liner doesn't glow under UV and everything seems there except one of the bolts on top? Resonably speaking what would one offer for such a lid? I have no experience with Picklehaube's? If you feel uncomfortable to give me an estimate here on the thread feel free to PM me.

That's exactly the way I like to find them. I have one with the exact cloth liner. Its stiffer more coarse than the silk liners. Others may disagree and that's ok but don't clean it!

If you look close you can see its period ersatz material actually I think it enhances the helmet making it more collectible, as for the rest of the helmet I leave to the more knowledgeable.
I've a period soldiers sweater made in the same material in my collection a different colour.

Hello all
I could really use some input into what to offer for this lid? Would $600.00 be a reasonable sum to offer? Or is it to low and insulting?

Just a guideline will do if anyone can help I would be very grateful
