    Its an officers cover the patch makes it interesting if thats the only pic its up to you Luft, I like it personally I found an em with those pleats near the spike base mobilisation '14 note the lack of numbers btw.

      thanks Hoss, i'm getting it along with the rounded front visor/not the usual squared (i think that signifies a private purchase) officer's haube. will post more pics when in hand.

      i'm assuming such a Wurttmberg cover is quite rare, please confirm. thanks

        I dont know how to differentiate the state without stamps maybe Chip or Tony can help, looking forward to more better pictures especially the material have a file going its an interesting past time.

            The roman numerals appear to me to be XIII which would fit a Wurttemberg unit.

                  That is a standard private purchase Überzug.

                  However, what makes it very cool is that the stencilled numbers/letters on the front have been covered as per regulations ordering the removal of markings. You can't remove paint, so patches were sewn over top.

                    so this is on par with a Beatles' second state Butcher cover
