    Ulan 15 Regiment Uniform,sword and EK1

I did a recent post on a pre-WWI 15th Ulanka that I purchased. The link is:

    http://dev.wehrmacht-awards.com/foru...ad.php?t=69105

After doing the post I hit pay dirt when a forum member offerred me an engraved sword for this regiment. I received it today and have posted a few pics for you viewing pleasure.

When I first got uniform home the unit 15th Ulan rang a bell. I check an engraved 1914 EK1 that I have and to my pleasure I see that it is engrave to a Lt. W. Bertuch of the 15th Ulan!!! I have done sone pictures of the engraving.

Last year I helped a fellow member, can't remember who, purchase a regimental history of the 15th Ulan. The person after purchasing the history told me there was information about Bertuch in the history. I would like to get the excate name of the history so I can locate another copy. Please PM me if you are that member.

            Thanks

I would publicly like to thank forum member GWA for selling me the sword. I don't want to give his name as he may not wish it. This hobby is so enjoyable because of people like GWA. Thanks again!!!

VERY nice grouping! History always seems a little bit more real and a little bit more connected with a grouping like this with several items from a particular regiment or unit.

              Regards

              Dave
