    Nice m16, flea market fresh...

    Hello folks. Just thought I'd share what I at least, think is a pretty nice find nowadays. This surfaced in a little lot from an estate picker friend of mine at this past weeks' flea market. A nice, totally un-touched, unmolested M16 in a smaller size, with, miraculously enough, a complete liner. There are a few pull-throughs on a couple of the "ears", and a few new holes were simply popped through a bit lower-down. The original drawstring is still intact as well, and most interesting, i.m.o, is a very old thick wadding of German newsprint stuffed up into the dome, (for extra warmth, perhaps?) Also in the lot, was a near MINT US M1917 helmet, as well as a very nice, and regimentally marked S/98 bayonet. A couple quick snaps below...

          Hello Hoss. The bayonet is numberd on the guard, "84. R.2.48" and on the scabbard throat "B. 15.R.10.210"...
