Sorry to say, but I am not happy with this "Dragoon" cap.

Maybe a look inside would help.

The large visor, the cloth and the overall appearance seems pretty post war to me.

It looks like a "Bochumer Mai-Schützen" cap. That's a kind of heritage-club, wearing tuxedos and these blue and white caps...
...they have an anual meeting with a lot of drinking...

Thanks Jaeger....all away packed for our move, the cap conforms to the standard design and has the appropriate makers marks, sadly its been stored badly and has flattened....
