First, apologies for being unable to link the listing. It is item 20093962322, shown as a feldgrau version of a GDC officer's cap, but there is no white piping either above or below the band, only on the crown. I believe this is incorrect.
The cap is priced at 595 pounds, and is listed on both Ebay USA and UK.

Interesting situation...looks like a good cap, but missing the band piping. I am afraid I can't solve the riddle...but can relate that I have seen two different technical troops feldmutze, both presented as authentic, that also had the piping on the crown, but NOT on the top and bottom of the band as expected.
