    German Trench Club Lanyard

Does anyone have an example of one of the spring-shaft German trench clubs with its original papercloth lanyard? I have a beautiful example of the type with the spiked egg-shaped head and I have an appropriate piece of papercloth tape that would make a perfect lanyard but I don't know how it was looped around and secured. If anyone has a photo it would be greatly appreciated!

Why does it not surpise me you have a complete example? I should have known just to contact you right off the bat! Whenever you get a chance could you please post a photo or just send it to my email? I would just like to know how the papercloth strap is secured - stitches, rivets, something else?

      Thanks!

Will do, but it might not be until this weekend. Hang in there, I'll get it for you.
