WWI Helmet Camo ??? No 2
Hello, Out of the 3 helmets, they all came out of the same collection, I like both WWI helmets personally, but before I will display them in my collection I wanted other opinions, this one is marked RF64 on the side. The WWII German Camo, I posted I am most leary of, but these 2 WWI helmets seem right. Thanks to those that look and give opinions. Jack

Unfortunately, it was the same for the WWII camo he posted on the J.B. helmet forum. All three helmets came from the same collection.

Chuck you are right, they were all bought out of the same collection, but one of the WWI helmets feels good and looked ok, but if they were stored in my closet, there is also a reason for that, I only put questionable helmets in my closet, I really do not know why I thought one might be good, I had them marked as M-35 fake, M-16 #1 questionable and M-16 #2 as fake, but I did get many that were spot on and I have sold about half of them, but all the fakes out of the collection were regular paint, the camo's I guess are fake.
It is not disappointing, on the money level, more disappointed that some one screwed up 2 perfectly good helmets, not like a Fake badge or something, some one got good helmets and messed with them, that makes me sick, it was done a long time ago. ???
When you buy collections, you calculate that a percentage is not period. It is the same whether you buy helmets of medals. And I am sure I still havee not 100% weeded out my collection. I have more trouble with US WWII items than German items........... You have a good day.
