Any concerns with this one? Curious that interior buttons were replaced yet looks like button holes on leather were never used. Also I see most early bread bags with a thicker leather for the straps? Stitching looks ok.

I think a possible explanation for the buttons being replaced, but the leather seeming unused, is that this bag was probably never used and later (possibly as late as WWII) the brass buttons were removed for scrap. When they were replaced at some point, they didn't even bother to include one for the center strap.
