Cadet Buckle

Hello I got this buckle yesterday. I found it interesting because it has a smaller roundel than normal. I think this is called a cadet buckle but thanks for any help on what it is. It also has a DRGM marked prong bar.

I can't help with this buckle,it looks like a nice piece,I have never seen one before,but I have a seen little in comparison in my time of collecting.
I'm sure I have seen similar buckles with a small roundel on Ebay the odd time,I well be keeping a closer eye on them now if I come across one.

Cadet Buckle

Forget about the thread. At the SOS last year a member here showed me a nice Imperial buckle with the small roundel and he called it a cadet buckle. I think it is an interesting variation.

It appears to be a nice buckle, but I would say it's just a private purchase variation.
