It's a Prussian Officer helmet for Infantry. Looks complete & correct with all the parts.

What's with the serious looking lengthy crack in the helmet body on the wearer's left side above the ear area? Can you show a closeup of that area?

Has the exterior shell been refinished/restored possibly, or has someone put shoe polish on the exterior shell? From viewing your photos, it makes me wonder about that possibility.

I agree with Alan... but to give an accurate evaluation of the helmet, larger pictures are needed...
