    Purchase I'm debating Camo M16

    Hello Everyone

Not much of a collector of Imperial German militaria so i thought i"d ask for advice from the membership here. I'm looking at getting a WW1 camo M16 and i was wondering if the one i've attached looks right.

also what would a fair offer be on the helmet?

I collect ww1 CEF items but saw this and thought it looks pretty snazzy and could've been a bring back (thus convincing myself it would fit in nicely next to the brodies ).

    Cheers

I'm not convinced the paint is original looking at these pics. If possible, get better pics in natural light without the flash. The inside looks good.

Same for me, the camo paint doesn't look like a +90 years old job!

Agreed with all the other posters. I'm not a helmet expert but yes, the yellow and the light green in particular are simply too bright and not in keeping with unquestionable originals I've seen. I've leaned to see what I see and not what I want to see.

Thanks for the input I'll give this one a pass. Thought the paint looked quite fresh but wanted to make sure i wasn't passing up on something good.

              Cheers and thanks again
