    K.u.K. Austrian field cap 1917

    Hi Guys,
    I would like to show what I have found. It cames from an old attic.
    It is quit big and condition looks alos good fro field cap.
    Just K cokade is missing...
    I do like it a lot !
    All oppininos are wellcome!

          A very nice cap. This type of loose weave wool was used only late in the war. It may even be reprocessed wool, made from wool scraps that have been shredded and respun into a coarse thread.

          It's interesting to note that even in 1918, there was still high quality wool available for use.

              Nice original cap with the late war recycled wool cloth and reduced lining, but otherwise made to to pre war quality standard.
              Would keep this for my collection - if I would own it.
