    Identify the sleeve badge in this photo?

    Can anyone identify this sleeve badge?

    I initially thought it might be Freikorps. But, it doesn't conform with any known Freikorps insignia.

    I'd appreciate any help I can get.

        How to translate this ?

        Maybe "Artillery marksman"

          I think a better translation for "Richtschützen" would be "Gunner".

            Richtkanonier patch for field artillery. The English equivalent is "gunlayer", which is the person who sets the gun with the proper firing settings.
