unkown Pips and cockades

Hello, i get a Lot of Buttons and there were these for me unknown stars and cockades . Do you know what it is?

Hello,

The 6-point stars are for the base of the spike, on a spike helmet. Sometimes these were in the split brad configuration, like yours are, and sometimes they had a threaded screw post to hold the spike base to the top of the pickelhaube.

The kokardes appear to have the Bavarian colors. Not sure what they are used on, as they are different shaped than the normal kokarde for a schirmutze, or a kratchen.

The button with the Lion looks like a Bavarian N.C.O. collar disk.

Pickelhaube stars have 8 points, so these must be for something else...

The button looks more like a Belgian button, but not Bavarian, I think. You might want to try the international militaria forum here. Someone there might pick them out more easily.

I agree Alan, I think it's a Bavarian collar disc or button. Some Belgian buttons are similar, but have lions with one tail and no crown.

Thanks Arran, 8-points is correct for the officer spike base stars, not 6-points. Thanks for pointing that out, my mistake!
