New spiked helmet

Just got this.Can anyone tell me if this is a customs officer or police?I know its Bavarian.What's the model?About what year?Any problems with it or opinions?

Hi Dan46,

The Bavarian police used this type of helmet. It is a civil service style of helmet.

As for a Customs helmet, I don't know, as I don't collect customs helmets, and don't know enough about them to say whether this was also used by Bavarian Customs or not. Hopefully someone else will chime in on it for you to clarify if customs used it as well.

It's a nice looking helmet, congratulations!
