Hauptmann Epaulettes ID Please

Hi All,
I have had these for a few months and have yet to find out exactly what branch/ unit they belong to. I have researched this and many other sites to no avail. I know they are for a captain. Are the OKW, General Staff, Administration or what?

No one knows anything about imperial epaulettes here????????????

They are Prussian Beamten epaulettes. The rank would not be called a captain, as the military rank names were not used. There were two types of officials, military and civilian. They both wore uniforms.

There is scant information out there concerning official's epaulettes. Some references show the shoulder boards of officials, but epaulettes are usually skipped over. I did not see this particular type in "Das Deutsche Heer", which could indicate that they are non-military. Regardless, for an official, they are of the higher classes.

So I take it they are like TR Heersverwaltung personnel? How confusing those are. I was afraid of that. The only reference I saw something even close was so messed up I couldn't make out what it said, but the other ones near it said Beamten. These are some of the most colorful ones I have seen.
