    TJ68 Helmet

I came across this on my never-ending search for one of these in size 68.
Would any of you nice gentlemen be so kind as to advise me if this is a real one?
    Thanks in advance.
    Denny

    Hi Denny
Reminds me of a public display souvenir ie: maybe from a Legion Post for example sometimes these silver shells would show up at PA flea markets. My mates call them old biker used lids?
Once again its a 68, cool, all depends what you want it for.

      Denny,

That's an original T.J.68 shell. As you know, it has been stripped of all parts and repainted inside and out.

Thank you Gents very much, that is what I wanted to know. I was going to tackle it as a restoration project.
Us old retired guys have weird things we do, you know.
        Thanks again!

Dang, I bid $375 and didn't get it. Someone sniped me in the last seconds and got it for $380.
I didn't think it would go for much over $300

Well Denny it's because you wanted it. I got the same problem. Helmets that should not sell for over X amount do cause I decided I wanted it.

Yep, it will teach me to get over-anxious, lol!
I had already ordered the liner, split pins and a chinstrap for it from a Czech dealer for it too!

That's what I was saying. Without you in the bid it would have went really cheap. Had you won it no telling what the other guy would have bid you up to.

I cannot believe that shell sold for so much size 68 or not.
