Bad M18 cut outs fooling collectors.

This was the latest. 89.00 dollar helmet sells for over 600.00

I bet the buyer thinks he was so lucky he was able to score it.

How do people not understand that its nearly impossible to score a deal on eBay? Unless an item is horribly mislabeled or mis-categorized, everyone that wants to see it is going to. And people will not let a rare item go by cheaply, especially in this hobby.

While eBay be the best indicator for true value (typically a bit lower than dealers), items still sell for what they should.

I was noticing a correlation between the number of these aged ones that were hitting the market since they started reproducing them.
I can remember seeing only one of those at the Houston Astrohall Gun Show back 20 plus years ago but now they are very plentiful. They were scarce back then.
Either someone found a cache of them or (Heaven forbid) people are artificially putting age on some of these new reproductions and trying to pass them.

I get almost always get a great deal, often even dirt cheap, only rarely i pay my maximum offer. About 90% of my bought items come from Ebay-listings.

I always get a good laugh out of the M-18 cutouts on eBay. They seem to leave out the details that most serious bidders & sellers want listed, such as pictures of the ET64 stamp and pictures of the cutouts.
