    Imperial Buckle Question

    Hi Team,
I've been sent these images by a friend who would like some information on the slightly smaller buckle. What was this used for (explaining it's reduced size)?
Thanks for any thoughts on this,
    Mark.

    Reverse and another size comparison.

It's the smaller size, worn prewar on certian uniforms, by Cadets, and on a trousers (inner) belt. Too bad it's messed up but still fairly unusual to find. These also had some post-WW1 wear by Patriotic Youth groups, etc. (were still listed in the Assmann Catalog in 1940!)

Nothing rare but all legit Prussian Crown buckle variations...
