long coat

I got this coat, but do not really know is it a german one or from an other country. Maybe it is a prussian one.

hello;it is a verry nice coat,model 1915 feldgrauw,he has the green collar so it is a prussen one,normaly they have inside the stamps whit date and army but here y dont see them anymore,dadet 1915 -1918 , greathings kemmelberg 1920 (his buttons are good ones also whit the crouwn)nice piece

I agree, this is a very fine example of the Prussian M1915 Mantel with original M1915 buttons. Often, the buttons on these coats have been replace with the wrong ones. The condition is very good with a few flaws. The Bekleidungsamt markings should be near the inner pocket on the right liner, this Mantel shows signs of wear, and no doubt bee washed enough to fade the markings, but with the right light, they may be seen.

Yes, that is it, it is dated 1917, but I can not read the BA marking that would be just above the date. The other numbers are the size.

At 02.February starts the auction for this nice coat on ebay, if interested look for " Preussischer Deutscher Feldmantel M15 bzw. M1915 100% original " seller is schoellbier2. I have to much inquiries in this forum and in a german forum. I want to give all a chance. So I think this is the best way for all and of course for me too.
