Here's one with the 7th Cavalry on it. Is it a fake, or did the German's sell these to different countries?http://dev.wehrmacht-awards.com/foru...1&d=1321235199Attached Files

Here's the whole photo that I took the inset of the French soldier from. All of the soldiers but one seem to be using the German 1874 ammo pouch. Can anyone confirm this; and can anyone tell me what period this photo is from?http://dev.wehrmacht-awards.com/foru...1&d=1321289856Attached Files

I keep finding pre-ww1 French soldiers wearing the 1874 ammo pouch, but no German solders wearing them, though I'm told that they were German made. Does anyone know the truth?http://dev.wehrmacht-awards.com/foru...1&d=1321294125

Voila!
I got my answer from Jean-Yves in Paris! The French pouch opens from the front, instead of the rear, like the German.http://dev.wehrmacht-awards.com/foru...1&d=1321304022Attached Files
