I have lots of pins and I let them go to help other collectors but you can (just about) never match that oragne color You could try your hand at painting one to match but then being the paint is repro you might as well go with a repro pin.

I would not paint it, because one will never get the correct color and its aging. So I would take an original pin, with standard field gray color.

It would be better to go with a rusty face pin rather then the green and you can, if you know what you are doing paint a pin to match. I can match them in some cases not all. And I don't know why I can when I manage to pull it off.

I matched these repro pins to the re painted paint job.

If you think this pin would work for you I have it as a spare. It is mostly rusty but has some faint green on it.
